Introduction to Circuits for Web Developers
By: Brendan Hennessy / July 20, 2016
I was really excited to have an opportunity to speak at this year’s Windy City Things conference in Chicago.
Windy City things is a two day conference for people interested in building IoT devices and software.
In my talk about Intro to Circuits for the Web Developer, I walked through the basics of circuitry in my session Intro to Circuits for the Web Developer. Using a smart light switch as an example, I showed how to build a prototype for a connected device from scratch, including how to interface with your prototype — connect your coffee maker with the software you created to interact with it and collect information.
Here’s the video from the event. I hope you find it interesting and would love to hear your feedback.
